FlipIQ AI collects account identifiers, authentication details, subscription status, scan photos you submit, barcode values, item descriptions, listing drafts, pricing inputs, marketplace preferences, support messages, and basic device, log, analytics, and performance data needed to operate the app, website, and backend services.
2How we use information
We use information to identify items, estimate resale value, retrieve marketplace comps, generate and save listing drafts, sync account entitlements, provide customer support, troubleshoot crashes or errors, detect abuse, secure the service, improve reliability, and understand which product surfaces are working.
3Service providers
FlipIQ AI shares only the minimum information needed with providers that support authentication and database hosting (Supabase), application hosting (Vercel), payments (Apple), error and crash reporting (Sentry), rate limiting (Upstash), AI analysis (OpenAI for item identification, Replicate for photo cleanup), and marketplace data retrieval (eBay APIs and marketplace-data services). These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service. FlipIQ AI does not sell personal information.
4Photos, AI, and marketplaces
Scan photos, item text, barcode values, and listing inputs may be sent to AI or marketplace-data providers so FlipIQ AI can classify items, extract details, compare resale signals, and prepare draft content. Do not submit photos or listing text that you are not allowed to share.
5Your choices and deletion
You control which scans, drafts, and account actions you create. You can delete your account directly from the app's settings, or request account deletion, data deletion, or privacy support by emailing [email protected] from your account email. Deletion requests are processed promptly; some records may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or billing records.
6California privacy rights
California residents may request access to the personal information FlipIQ AI holds about them, request deletion, and request details about the categories of information collected and the purposes for which it is used, as provided by the CCPA/CPRA. FlipIQ AI does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not discriminate against users who exercise privacy rights. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject "California privacy request" from your account email; we will verify the request and respond within the legally required window.
7Security and retention
We use encrypted transport, access controls, environment-scoped secrets, provider-level safeguards, monitoring, and operational review to protect production systems. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to limit access and retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.
